The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.
Everyone is asked to exhibit sportsmanlike conduct at all times in the facility. No cursing, no swearing, no foul language, no drinking BEFORE OR DURING events, no fighting, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are seen going against anything that the race officials determine as "unsportsmanlike", the appropriate measures will be taken. Just remember that you are at a family facility with young people looking up to you to lead them.
Racers are responsible for the actions of their crewmembers, parents, siblings, etc. Everyone attending an event for a certain racer(s), be reminded that you are representing that racer. The racer suffers from your actions. Again, be mindful of the environment you are in.
Un-sportsmanlike Conduct! Definition: anyone who is using foul language or aggression, anyone who is drinking before or during the events, anyone who displays rough driving or WRONG driving on the track....is exhibiting "unsportsmanlike conduct" and the appropriate measures will be taken.
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ROUGH DRIVING.
ROOKIE/NOVICE DRIVERS
Consideration of age will be given to Rookie/Novice Drivers when determining which class they will be assigned to regardless of the posted age limits for the Race Classes. Definition of a Rookie/Novice driver is a person who has no race experience. The reason for this is that new people are being introduced to the sport and should not be expected to race in a class that is to advanced for their racing skills.
LO206 Fairings should not extend above the top of the steering wheel.

RACE RULES
All karts must be weighed after all qualifying/heat and feature races. In the event that a kart does not meet the minimum weight requirement they will start at the rear of the field for the next timed session. If they do not meet the minimum required weight after the feature race, that racer is automatically disqualified. There will be no arguing with the volunteer operating the scales. BE PATIENT!
No side mirrors or other seeing aids are allowed on the kart during races.
After registration is closed, there will be NO LATE REGISTRATIONS.
2011 WKA and IKF Engine and Chassis rules apply for the animal and raptor classes. Box Stock/Clone classes must run the AKRA rules package.
Transponders all transponders must be located on the left rear seat strut, regardless of type of kart. Transponders will be given out during registration. Personal transponders can be used.
Starts/ Restarts/ Cautions We will start every heat and feature race double file at the solid white line. All restarts are single-file, unless no lap has been completed. As soon as racers see the caution flag, they are to slow down to a reasonable speed. The flagman has COMPLETE control over the race.
Adults assisting with on track safety will stand to the outside of the track while the race is in progress. Only those parents chosen by the race director will be allowed on the infield area. The objective of those parents involved is to assist racers that leave the track and need assistance re-starting their engine and returning to the track in a safe manor. Parents should not be "coaching" their drivers while acting in this capacity.
On track issues should be addressed with the "Flagman". If the issue at hand is not resolved to the driver/parents satisfaction the issue will be addressed after the race with the race director.
The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their discretion is final.
On track disputes will not be tolerated.
There will be no arguing or justifying of any of these rules.
